چکیده
BACKGROUND: Bone tumours involving hands are usually benign but can be locally aggressive. Several treatments have been described. Usual modalities of treatment include curettage and bone grafting. In more advanced stages when short bones the hand involved with than 70% cortical destruction, or such option is not possible (as non-contained breaches, pathological fracture), only resection amputation affected segment offer an effective cure. We studied role free fibula graft (non-vascularised) in types non-reconstructable (by conventional methods) tumours. The aims objectives were to study functional outcome grafting analyse complications, if any, assess causes solutions for them METHODS: prospectively 15 patients different benign, operated by period ranged from January 2014 December 2021. Follow-up 2 8 years (average 4.26 RESULTS: Results analysed QuidkDASH-9 score system. There was no recurrence. One case superficial infection treated antibiotics dressing. All happy resumed their normal duties movements CONCLUSION: Use a good avoid amputation. gives better results due total excision lesion strut support outcomes Level evidence: 3

Benign tumours of the bone: A review☆
Benign tumours of the bone are not cancerous and would not metastasise to other regions of the body. However, they can occur in any part of the skeleton, and can still be dangerous as they may grow and compress healthy bone tissue. There are several types of benign tumours that can be classified by the type of matrix that the tumour cells produce; such as bone, cartilage, fibrous tissue, fat or...
متن کاملOutcome of Distal Both Bone Leg Fractures Fixed by Intramedulary Nail for Fibula & MIPPO in Tibia
Background: Fractures of the distal third of the tibia are mostly associated with a fibular fracture that often requires fixation. The preferred treatment of distal tibial fracture is the minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis (MIPPO) procedure. However, there are no clear cut guidelines on fixation of the fibular fracture and currently most orthopedic surgeons use a plate osteo...
متن کاملdetermination of maximal singularity free zones in the workspace of parallel manipulator
due to the limiting workspace of parallel manipulator and regarding to finding the trajectory planning of singularity free at workspace is difficult, so finding a best solution that can develop a technique to determine the singularity-free zones in the workspace of parallel manipulators is highly important. in this thesis a simple and new technique are presented to determine the maximal singula...

The multinucleated giant cells present are formed from the fusion of mononuclear cells. Giant cell tumour is more common in Southeast Asia than in the West. The incidence is about 20% compared to 4% to 5% in the West. MATERIALS AND METHODS Sixteen patients with giant cel...
